Facilities at our care and nursing home

At Ingham House, we provide a wide range of amenities and facilities on site to help improve the quality of life for the residents in our long-term care. A summary of some of the amenities that can be found on site are included below:

Computers

There is free Wi-Fi throughout the home allowing residents to go online to browse the web, play games or communicate with friends and family without needing to pay costly bills. We also have a communal computer that can be used, and we are happy to provide assistance if needed.

On-site Shop

We have a small shop where residents can buy daily essentials, cards, and gifts, etc. Newspapers can also be ordered in advance and delivered to the home when required.

Postbox

There is a postbox located in the reception which is emptied daily by the postman. There is no need to go outside just to post a letter or send a card.

Mini Library

We have a large fully stocked bookcase that is free to use for our residents. All of the books are in large print to help those with impaired vision.

Laundry

All laundry is undertaken on site by our hard-working laundry staff and is delivered back to the rooms.​​

Church Service

Every week, there is a church service held in the home that residents can attend.
