Excursions from our care and nursing home

We strongly believe that our residents should not be confined to the boundaries of Ingham House and instead be encouraged to explore the local area. For this reason, we have two minibuses, located on site, which are ready to take residents to the places of their choosing including days out.

Excursions from our care and nursing home are to wherever the residents decide and can include visits to local tourist attractions, garden centres, vineyards, and areas such as the seafront, local parks, Alfriston, etc, trips out for breakfast and lunch, plus even visits to the pub! These happen almost every day and the travel cost is free. The resident only needs to pay for their own expenses such as any food or drink purchased.

Twice a week we also take one of our minibuses to town and back providing transport and a perfect opportunity for our residents to do some shopping.

In addition to the various recreational trips that are arranged throughout the year, our drivers are also on hand and able to take residents to any medical appointments.
