We provide a full range of quality services that are in place to help facilitate the personal care of our residents. As a home that really does care, wellbeing is so important to us. The following outlines just some of the personal care services available at Ingham House residential and nursing care home.
Hairdressing
We have two experienced hairdressers who visit and work in our specially adapted room. There is no need to leave the home to go to a hairdressers or barber. We find this a great solution for those who are less mobile and do not want to venture far.
Chiropody
We have a fully qualified chiropodist who visits the home regularly and can attend to and treat residents in their own rooms. They are equipped to treat and prevent foot disorders including for the nails and skin.
Oral and Skin Care
Our caring staff can assist residents with brushing their teeth and sorting their dentures or other oral appliances. They will also be aware of any potential skin conditions and can provide appropriate care to prevent dryness, irritation, and pressure sores.
Personal Financing
All residents have the option to set up a cash account with ourselves, which will be kept in our locked safe. This ensures that they always have access to money without the worry of misplacing it.
